Spring Wreath

I thought the front door looked a bit sad with the winter decorations down, so I whipped up this spring themed wreath.
I used a round cork trivet as the base. Cut the centre out of it then wrapped the remaining circle frame in bright orange ribbon.
I cut square pieces of paper out of old calendars. Since the backs were white, I used two squares per windmill, so that they would be bright and colourful from all angles.
I used a pushpin per windmill to both hold it together and attach it to the wreath.
Finally, I used a pushpin to attach more orange ribbon to the back of the wreath, so that I could hang it up.
I think it turned out pretty well, considering it was on a whim, didn't take very long, and I only used things I had on hand. (Plus now I can toss the rest of the old calendars, so I feel like I did a little spring cleaning too.)
